I am a stay at home mom of 3 who is an utterly uncreative creative person. I love to make things and I love to stick to recipes and vary them very little. I first got into sewing in high school when I was obsessed with Project Runway and picked it up again a few years ago when I discovered the world of sustainability, simple living, and ethical fashion. I mainly sew garments for myself but have sewn for my kids and husband and recently started knitting! Making things with my hands has been my main self-care these days and has gotten me through plenty of highs and lows.

What influence does music have in your life as a creative?:

Music is on in the background pretty consistently through my days. I listen to it while making dinner, folding laundry, or sewing. I love to sing and whistle to music and am not ashamed of my mediocre voice. Music has always been in my life and while my taste has changed drastically I have usually have on some sort of modern folk or pop 🙂

Tell us about your playlist:

This is my go to for putting on when I’m doing just about anything. I’ve seen a few of these bands in concert and love to be reminded of those times but quite a few are on my list that I would love to see.
