Lindsey Dartsch

She / Her
Sewist

I love to make the life I want to live – making, baking, knitting, sewing – and I’m currently building the handmade wardrobe of my dreams. I live in Washington DC where I spend time absorbing fashion and exploring with my tiny dog, Olive. I’m a collector of classic American denim and vintage peacoats.

Tell us about your Holiday playlist:

The holidays sound like Karen Carpenter and the laughs of a Black Santa. Being from the American South, the intersection of culture comes together beautifully at the holidays, giving me the best of all parts of the USA. Christmas classics reimagined stir me when they speak to the classics, and there’s always room on the speakers for a moment to groove or sit in the arms of a smooth trumpet solo. May your holiday be filled with fireplace crackles and jiving hips!
